Emperor - I Am The Black Wizards (Wacken 2006)


Emperor es una banda de black metal noruego fundada en 1991, disuelta en 2001 y reformada en 2005. Actualmente formada por Samoth, Ihsahn y Trym. Si bien Emperor no puede ser considerado dentro del black metal sinfónico o melódico, es uno de los impulsadores de dichos subgéneros.

Sus letras hablan sobre satanismo en un principio, posteriormente sobre ideas vikingas y paganas, centrándose en la oscuridad, la fuerza del ser humano, temas de ocultismo, leyendas/folklore noruego y algunos temas más.
